For the Kiddos: Punch Cups & Hot Potato game with Cindy Lou WhooΒ π
We kicked off the evening with some delightful games for the little ones. The "Punch Cups" game was a blast β imagine the kiddos' faces lighting up as they punched through paper-covered cups to grab the hidden goodies. It was like an adorable mini-version of a treasure hunt!
The kiddos had their own version of the saran wrap game. These kids range from 4 to 6 and it was a bit overwhelming to them, caused a few meltdowns when it was over, and maybe we chill it out a bit next year! They had fun, but it's so fast paced, and intense, that it was a lot for their little brains!
Next up, the Pass the Cindy Lou, to music, when the music stops if you are holding Cindy Lou you exit the game and get a gift! The kids loved it as a creative way to get a gift. They all got creative gifts for them to take downstairs and play with while the adults have some fun later!Β
Cindy Lou is a wiggler and in the middle of the game her button got pushed to turn on her wiggles and music, it made for an interesting game while the kids tried to pass her! LOL
Adults Only: Saran Wrap Game & More π
As the kids settled down with their newly acquired treasures, it was time for the adults to unleash their inner child. The "Saran Wrap Game" was a hoot β unwrapping layers of plastic to reveal quirky gifts, all while racing against the clock. Talk about a wrap party!
Then came the "Gift Dice Switch Game," where we passed around wrapped presents based on dice rolls. The suspense of not knowing what you'd end up with added a thrilling twist to the traditional gift exchange.
We also spiced up the night with a Christmas version of "What's on Your Phone." Scoring points for having festive photos, holiday apps, or even a Christmas-themed wallpaper made everyone frantically scroll through their phones - so much fun!
The Grand Finale: Santa Trivia π
To top off the night, we dived into "Santa Trivia." From historical Santa facts to quirky holiday traditions around the world, our knowledge was put to the test. Let's just say, we all left a little smarter and full of new Christmas tidbits to share.
Wrapping It Up π
As the night drew to a close, we were all aglow with the joy of shared laughter and new memories. Our Christmas game night was more than just games; it was about bonding, making merry, and relishing the holiday spirit.
So, whether you're planning your own festive gathering or just looking for some holiday inspiration, I hope our Christmas game night sparks some ideas. Remember, it's all about the fun, the laughs, and the love shared. Merry Christmas, everyone!
Stay tuned for those photos β they're going to be as delightful as the evening itself!
With joy and jingles, Kim πβ¨
