Cruise Ducks, Dirty Duck Games & My Favorite Cruise Mailbox šŸ›³ļøšŸ¦†

In addition to loving all things vintage, I also love to cruise. (And yes—fun fact—I’m a travel agent too! Contact me to book your next cruise!)

If you’ve ever been on a cruise, you may have heard about hiding ducks on the ship, and of course, hunting the ducks. If you haven’t… you are missing out on one of the most fun, community-driven activities at sea.

I always bring ducks with me to hide around the ship, and I love playing along when I find them too. It’s such a simple thing, but it adds a whole extra layer of fun to your trip.

šŸ¦† Let’s Talk ā€œDirty Duckā€

I’ve hosted a few ā€œDirty Duckā€ games on cruises.

If you’ve never played—it’s basically a cruise version of a gift exchange… but with ducks. It gets competitive, a little chaotic, and a LOT of fun.

You can find a digital download of the game here. This includes stickers, graphics, and game info. Use coupon "Digital" to get it for $2.95

šŸ“¬ My Favorite Find: The Duck Mailbox

On my last cruise, I brought something new with me—and I am officially obsessed.

This Cruise Duck Mailbox made the entire experience even more fun.

Here’s why I love it:

  • It’s the ORIGINAL version (and great quality)
  • I’ve already dropped it… more than once (including on concrete šŸ˜…)… and it held up perfectly
  • USA based small business
  • The magnets are STRONG

And that last part matters more than you think.

Cruise ship doors and walls are metal… but they’re covered in vinyl.
That means weaker magnets won’t stick well.

This one? No issues at all.

✨ The Best Part

Coming back to my cabin and checking the mailbox to see if someone left a duck…

That became one of my favorite parts of the day.

It’s such a fun way to ā€œhideā€ ducks without just placing them randomly around the ship—and it creates this little moment of surprise every time you walk back to your room.

🧳 Coming Up Next…

I’ll be back on a cruise in a few weeks, and you better believe this is coming with me.

I’ve got:

  • A few special ducks to leave
  • Some fun everyday ones
  • And I’ll definitely be sharing what I leave (and what I find!)

šŸŽÆ Want to Join the Fun?

If you’ve got a cruise coming up, I highly recommend jumping in.

Get yourself a duck mailbox, bring a few ducks, and be part of it—it’s such an easy way to connect with other cruisers and make your trip even more memorable.
