Consignment, Collections and Downsizing

Helping You Decide the Best Way to Sell, Downsize, or Move Forward

Whether you're downsizing, settling an estate, selling a collection, or simply ready to part with items you've accumulated over the years, knowing where to start can feel overwhelming.

We help you understand your options and choose the approach that best fits your goals. From consigning individual pieces to selling an entire collection, purchasing items outright, or managing a complete estate sale, we'll guide you through the process with honesty, experience, and transparency.

Your first in-home consultation is free, giving us the opportunity to evaluate your situation, answer your questions, and recommend the solution that makes the most sense for you.

Consignment

Have a few items or an entire collection? We make selling easy.

Here's how it works:

  • We meet with you to review your items.
  • Together, we create an inventory list.
  • We professionally photograph, research, price, and list your items across multiple online marketplaces.
  • We handle customer questions, packing, shipping, and payment processing.

Our consignment fee is 50% of the final selling price after marketplace and payment processing fees.

Items are reviewed every 30 days and repriced as needed to encourage a sale. After 120 days, any unsold items will be reviewed together, and we'll decide on the best next step. Options may include continued consignment, returning the items to you, purchasing them outright, donating them, or another mutually agreed solution.

Collections

If you have an entire collection or a large number of items, we offer two options.

Sell Your Collection

Need cash quickly? We can purchase your collection outright. Because we assume all of the risk, an outright purchase typically results in a lower payout than consignment, but you'll receive payment immediately without waiting for items to sell.

Consign Your Collection

If maximizing your return is your priority, we can also consign your collection and sell the items for you through our online sales channels.

Downsizing & Estate Services

Not sure where to start? We can help.

Your first consultation is free. During our visit, we'll discuss your goals, evaluate your items, and recommend the best solution for your situation.

Depending on your needs, we may recommend:

  • Consignment
  • Purchasing your items outright
  • A professionally managed estate sale

Estate Sales

We manage the entire estate sale process from start to finish.

  • Three-day professionally managed sale
  • Final day is 50% off remaining inventory
  • We determine pricing based on current market value
  • Family members are not present during pricing or sale hours to ensure a smooth, consistent buying experience

Our estate sale commission is 40%, with 60% paid to the estate owner.

At the conclusion of the sale, ownership of any remaining items transfers to us unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
