Sligh Mantel Clock Franz Hermle Triple Chime Works 8 Day Key Wind Model 0500-2

This beautiful mantel clock from Sligh is a true vintage gem. With the wonderful tone/sound of the triple chime featuring Westminster, St. Michael's, and Whittington (or off), this clock is sure to add a touch of elegance to any room. The clock is crafted from high-quality wood, glass, and metal, and features a classic analog display. Measuring 11.5 inches in length, 15.5 inches in height, and 6.5 inches in width, this rectangular clock is the perfect size for any mantel. The clock is key-wind and has a movement of Franz Hermle Two Jewels 1050-021. The clock is in its original form and was manufactured in the late 20th century in the United States.


This is a high end model 0500-2 with carved sides, wonderful detail and design. It has a beautiful beveled glass front door. The mechanism is made by the "Tried and True" Franz Hermle for the Sligh Clock Company USA. This is a 8-day key wind clock (Key included) with German movement marked "K" 1050-020 Two Jewels unadjusted made in Germany. The mechanism has an eight brass rod configuration with 8 brass hammers. This clock chimes on the 1/4 hour, 1/2 hour, 3/4 hour and on the hour and then counts off the hours accordingly. This clock has a silent setting. It is 12.25 pounds in weight. This is a very solid well built clock. The wonderful classic design really adds to it's elegant charm.
