2 Antique 1899 Miniature Prayer Books Holy German Leather Catholic Christian

These two Catholic Prayer books are from 1899, Germany.
Printed in Winterberg Vienna
January 17, 1899 for the white book.


Each book is about 4" x 4"

The white book has a clasp that is believed to be bakelite and brass
The cover is hard cover creamy white, embossed with silver tone flowers and a cross.
The inside cover has the cross that came with it in the position it should be in.
There is a holy remembrance card in the back that came with the book and will remain with it.

The brown book is a very soft butter leather

The binding is very loose and the back cover is nearly falling off

These are currently stored in small baggies to preserve the books, they will come to you that way.


The title page roughly translates to:
Christian alpine garden.
Complete prayer book for all Catholic Christians, especially for devotees of the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar.
