Vintage 1950s musical vanity or powder box featuring a turquoise blue metal exterior with ornate gold-tone filigree decoration and colorful jewel-like accents on the lid. The interior features a charming Christmas kitten image beneath the removable lid. Raised feet and a wind-up music box mechanism are located on the underside. Metal interior shows a faint marking that appears to include "Little Connie." Displays age-related finish wear, oxidation, spotting, scratches and discoloration as shown. An unusual mid-century decorative piece for a vanity, dresser or music box collection.
